What is it that moves society? Many people may think of things like politics and the economy. However, if we trace the root of this problem, it comes down to each person’s kokoro. The kokoro of people involved decides how to proceed with policies and economic measures.
In each individual’s life, it is each person’s kokoro that determines the countless choices they face in their lives. Do you go to the right? Do you go to the left? Do you go forward? Do you stop? Or do you go back? The accumulation of such choices determines your happiness or unhappiness in life.
How the kokoro moves is so important. Ōyamanezunomikoto is the Kami who controls the kokoro. And a Kami who protects our lives through the movements of our kokoro.

It is Ōyamanezunomikoto who places the soul at the time of birth. Every single soul that is inhabited becomes unmei, and it guides one’s life as a power to carry life forward.
Unmei that Kami gives us is both a life force and potential, and it is a power that is sure to be useful to society. Ōyamanezunomikoto saves, protects, and guides humans so that they can live fulfilling lives through this invisible energy called unmei. Therefore, it is important to live in a way that allows you to fully utilize the power of your unmei. Kami teaches us through Shinji how to live for this purpose.
When the soul reaches the end of its lifespan, it leaves the body and returns to Ōyamanezunomikoto. Hence, at the time of birth, while walking through life, when you become a soul at the end of your life, and when you are born again. All humans always exist with Ōyamanezunomikoto.

Ōyamanezunomikoto established a means of salvation in this world called the Kibō no Michi. Through this, each person will be able to connect directly with Kami, cut off the bad causes that have been passed down from parents and ancestors, and follow the unmei (life force, potential, or ability) that Kami has bestowed upon us. The only condition is to live according to Kami’s teachings.
If you live to manifest Kibō no Michi every day, you will never have any regrets in life. By leaving behind a good way of life on the Kokoro no Michi (the spiritual inheritance) that continues from parents and ancestors to descendants, the next time you are born, you will move up in the ranks of your unmei and be promised a life that is far more rewarding than this one. Kami refers to this as kaiun.
Kaiun is the purpose of human life. What’s more, you and your descendants who inherit good things from you will also be able to lead a fulfilling life, and the more generations continue, the more your family will prosper.

In this way, Kami refers to the eternal salvation of the soul as Shinjitsu no Michi. It is a salvation that can be reached by manifesting Kibō no Michi. Ōyamanezunomikoto provides people with more than just momentary joy in life. It is the ultimate salvation that purifies the soul, which endures through repeated births and deaths, and elevates it to a more fulfilling life.
