Summary of the Shinji (August 15, 2020) from Kyōshu Seishisha Tomomarukō Sensei

Kami gives us a guidance on the current flow of society and how we should live in the flow with the Shinji revealed for Shinja Kokoro no Michi Benkyōkai. Kami is omniscient and omnipotent and able to foretell the future. However, Kami does not tell us what human beings will need in 10 or 20 years, but what we need at this present period.

If you perceive the flow of this year from the Shinji revealed for January Kigansai and have kept learning the teachings every month, you should have gone with the flow overcoming any situations and reached August. Once we get into Kōju Shinja Sanpaiji in September, the flow of time will switch over to the next year. Therefore, if you come into contact with the Kami’s guidance from January to August and absorb them, you will have good result by going with the flow without wavering your kokoro greatly under any situations.

The last part of the Shinji for Kigansai is the goal we should achieve this year.

Life is in Kami’s hands—strive to be the person (human being) who completes their life journey knowing that the time spent living as a human being is precious.

I wish that every one of the shinja to foster their state of mind as the one shown in this Shinji. Life is the time spent living as a human being and the finite precious period. Do not waste the irreplaceable transient time and strive to do what you can do now and live through with the kokoro to give back. If you spend each day with this kokoro, you will be able to live with your given unmei; fitting with your parameter, and you will meet the conditions to be the person (human being) who completes their life journey.

Kami’s guidance this month is to look closely at yourself and check if you achieved the goal. Under the purpose, three Shinji are shown on 1st, 15th, and 23rd of August. The three Shinji mostly consist of awarenesses and understandings, and a principle is shown only on the 15th.

Kami repeatedly teaches us the era is changing dramatically. If you are suffering to live at this present time, it is not because of the stay-at-home request nor the economic turndown, but because you are not able to go with the flow of the changes. Do not be overwhelmed saying; “I’m afraid of the coronavirus infection,” “I am so lost because of the messy government disciplines,” and “It’s very hard unable to go around freely.” Adjust yourself to the environment. It is the same as you wear a lot in the winter and less in the summer. Harmonize with the environment without complaints. This is the precioustime that you are living. Do not waste any day, but live your life by striving to attain a kokoro that human beings should have.

The first paragraph of the Shinji for August 15 is awareness. The most important realization is below.

Strive to be the shinja who correctly understands the meaning of what it is for a person (human beings) to live.
Look closely at the person (people) who lives each day in today’s society.
They live without purpose, their kokoro at the mercy of whatever is immediate—a life lived without dreams.

This is not a difficult philosophy. We all were born in this world because every one of us is needed in this era, in this family, and in this society, and gifted to be of use. Human beings tend to lose the purpose of living because they cannot perceive the meaning of living so that they have so many complaints such as “there is no end for the coronavirus outbreak,” “I cannot even enjoy summer vacation,” “My income has been decreased.” However, under any situations, human beings are needed in the society and have power to be useful. Understand where and which place you are at, and try to be of use to people with the kokoro to give back. Kami wants us to understand that we come into this world for a reason.

The next paragraph is understanding. Especially what you need to practice is: Learn the teachings and strive to deepen your relationship with family members.

Once you understand the meaning of what it is for a person to live in the first paragraph, strive to deepen your relationship with family members. The deepest tie you have is to your own family members; you are in the same blood line and it is an unavoidable relation. As you deepen the tie, the kokoro of human beings become brighter and they can live a life with a dream.

Correctly understand your place and communicate according to the role of your position; husband is a root to support family, wife is a trunk to connect kokoro of family members, children are branches to talk their feelings and thoughts honestly, and grandparents are the earth to watch over family members with an enriched kokoro.

And, the final paragraph is the principle.

The true meaning and purpose that human beings live for is to know true happiness as you live and feel the love of family members.
This sacred experience that exists in life can be attained especially now as you live in this finite era.
Leave behind good elements in your Kokoro no Michi; this is how people, who attain kaiun, live.

This Shinji explains a part of the Shinji for Kigansai: Life is in Kami’s hands—strive to be the person (human being) who completes their life journey knowing that the time spent living as a human being is precious.

Are you feeling the meaning and purpose of living? Human beings naturally feel it when they are of use to, accepted by, get praised by, and appreciated by family members, friends, and many other encounters through the communications.

Those people, who actually feel the meaning and purpose of living, live a life in the love of family members. It does not matter if they live in the same house or if they live apart; the life is supported by the love of family and filled with happiness of living. They will show care and consideration for each other. For example, when it was raining, you would say “Didn’t you get wet from the rain?” or when your family members got home late from work, you would say ”You must be hungry! Dinner is ready.”

Power of living springs forth when they live in the deep love like this, and you will have stronger will to give back to others. The experience allows you to perceive from the bottom of your heart that this sacred experience that exists in life can be attained especially now as you live in this finite era, limited period of time.
Also, you can leave behind good elements in your Kokoro no Michi. This is a life and principle. I want you to be the person who experience the true meaning and purpose that human beings live for.

After having the Shinji for Kigansai and learning Shinji every month, the deep principle has been revealed by Kami at the last of the Shinji on August 15. The Shinji of August 1 only consists of awareness and understanding, but those connect to the principle shown in the Shinji of August 15. I wish every one of you to be a person who can experience the true meaning and purpose of life, and come to Shinji Kyōkai to inform and deliver deepest gratitude to Shinkon during Kōju Shinja Sanpaiji.
