Summary of the Shinji (October 15, 2020) from Kyōshu Seishisha Tomomarukō Sensei

The theme of Shinja Kokoro no Michi Benkyōkai for October is Daishin. What I want you to be aware of is the importance to deepen the respect and gratitude towards Daishin, Tomomarusai Sensei, and take the life of Daishin into your kokoro as a role model. Kami has shown in the beginning of this year that the world has been changed dramatically to harmonize. As Kami said, humanity is facing things that are impossible to cope with human knowledge or experience, and so many people in the world have gradually started to be aware of the importance of harmony.

What modern society is lacking is sympathy. Most of human beings are living in an egocentric and self-centered way. Human beings instinctively have greed; the greed of how we want to be seen by others, our vanity, and the want of wealth and fortune. When the greed surfaces excessively and cannot be controlled, harmony will be collapsed. This is what we are experiencing now in society. However, those who know Kami’s teachings would be striving to control their kokoro and live a right way of life.

In this month, Kami explained about such topic on October 1st, and showed two other Shinji on 15th and 23rd centering around the topic. Therefore, I would like you to relearn the Shinji; It is the time (era) for shinja to know the kokoro that Daishin wanted humanity to have—the spirit of harmony. The path of the principles that is the source of the teachings is the spirit of harmony: harmony which merges with the three paths, and read today’s Shinji.

Today’s Shinji consists of three paragraphs; first realization, second realization, and deep understanding. Let’s look at the first paragraph, realization.

It is now truly the time for shinja to look back and reexamine the history of Shinji Kyōkai.
You will begin to see that the historical truth that ushered in the age of Shinkon was all in the hands of Kami.

Kami says that it is now truly the time for shinja to look back and reexamine the history of Shinji Kyōkai. The time stated here does not mean the ‘moment,’ but the ‘era.’ In this era, we are required to look back and reexamine the history of Shinji Kyōkai.

We are in the era of Shinkon. It is a blessed era that we can achieve kaiun if we manifest Kibō no Michi(*). However, it also means that if people do not manifest Kibō no Michi, they will be overwhelmed by the flow of this chaotic society. It is because they are influenced by knowledge and information too much, and go down to excessive greed. Another reason is the lack of sympathy.

When you reexamine the history of Shinji Kyōkai, you will realize that everything has taken place in the hands of Kami. In order to save humanity, Ōyamanezunomikoto established Shinji Kyōkai through Tomomarusai Sensei as a Shisha. And at the same time, Kami descended to this world in the physical form of Kami’s Direct Messenger, Chokushi Tomomaruhime Sensei. Tomomaruhime Sensei and Tomomarusai Sensei went through indescribable burden, and at the end of it, Kibō no Michi was established.

It is indispensable to learn and live by the teachings to manifest Kibō no Michi. As you live abiding by Kami, Hotoke, and Hito no Michi, you will live a life, under the great protection of Shinkon, bringing out full power of your own unmei, strength given by Kami to each one of us. This is to manifest Kibō no Michi. Those who do not know Kami’s teachings hardly live a life that is one with their own unmei. It is because they succumb to excessive greed and live a life beyond their parameters.

To look back on the history of Shinji Kyōkai, we have a history book “The Path to Truth, a Journey of Light” both in Japanese and English. Please read the book, and understand the truth of Shinji Kyōkai’s history up to the reaching of the era of Shinkon, and learn the kokoro to live on a right path.

Next paragraph is second realization.

To the Shinja
Do you know what is the infinite power that guides and protects this world?
The answer will not be found in the history books written and left behind by humanity.
Feel the history as you reread the Shinji that remains in the church.
They are teachings that make the best of a soul’s strengths, which are all connected to the infinite.
The soul of the shinja that gains understanding of the teachings as it lives a finite life, is living their Kokoro no Michi today.
The strengths of the soul are passed on to the kokoro of family members and they will continue to live on in the family lineage.

What guides and protects this world? Most people think it is intelligence, financial power, or authority. However, the power that guides and protects this world exists in elsewhere. Kami reveals the power is “the infinite power.”You cannot find what is “the infinite power” by looking back at the facts and events which is in the history books written and left behind by humanity.

The answer to the question can be found in Shinji. Kami, and Kami calls out to us to feel the history as you reread the Shinji that remains in the church. Kami’s words, Shinji, are in the history book of Shinji Kyōkai the book of Shinji collection, and other books written by Shinji Kyōkai. Learn them by feeling the history. The history that you need to feel here is not Japanese history nor world history, but the history of Shinji Kyōkai. To do so, you will know how the world works and see Kami’s intention of opening the path of salvation.

Everything in this world; human beings, things, organizations, eras, are all finite. The only thing that is infinite is the soul; human beings are born to this world, live and end a life, and come back to this world again. In order to make the best of a soul’s strengths, which are all connected to the infinite, Kami has shown the teachings and established Kibō no Michi.

A soul does not have power in itself. When human beings come to this world, Kami places a soul in the bodies of human beings. And in the moment of birth, the soul becomes an unmei which is the power to guide their life. The unmei has power to live. The unmei disappears as one’s life ends; it is finite. However, the existence of a soul is infinite, so even when one’s life ends, Kokoro no Michi continues eternally. Making the best of the soul depends on how well and how beneficially you live abiding by the right path.

Learn Shinji, gain understanding of the teachings, and live a life that manifests Kibō no Michi. That will allow you to continue to live in your family’s Kokoro no Michi even after your life ends and come back into this world with a better life promised. Although human beings live a finite life, if they live by the teachings, vertical Kokoro no Michi will continue bigger and wider. The strengths of the soul are passed on to the kokoro of family members and they will continue to live on in the family lineage. Please realize that a blessed era, that allows us make the best of the infinite power, has come.

The last paragraph is a deep understanding. Up to this point, you should be aware of so many things that you need to realize. Now, it is time for you to deeply understand the way of life shown in this paragraph, and practice in your life and place it as a conviction.

Through Shisha Tomomarusai, Kami revealed the truth to humanity about the perpetuity of the soul and the infinite power that exists in this world and watches over and guides the family.
The powers of a Shisha were given for this reason.
Today the shinja look to the life of Daishin as a role model and they walk the Kokoro no Michi (life) that leads to kaiun.
The human soul that lives a life that is one with Kami (Shinkon) will continue to live its Kokoro no Michi as its jittai is raised.

Kami established Shinji Kyōkai in this world through Tomomarusai Sensei. At the same time, Kami revealed; the existence of Ōyamanezunomikoto, that there is the world of Kami, Hotoke, and Hito, and that the perpetuity of the soul and the infinite power are able to be pulled out only with the power of true Kami.

The powers of a Shisha were given by Kami to realize the true salvation in this world. And through the following era of Chokushi, Kibō no Michi that grants kaiun had been established. Kami encourages us, shinja, to look to the life of Daishin as a role model and to walk the Kokoro no Michi (life) that leads to kaiun. To “look to” means to respect from the bottom of the heart. When you call the name of Kami and Daishin both in the morning and evening, if you have the heart to respect them from the bottom of your heart, the sincerity and seriousness would differ when kigan.

Through deepening the realizations from Kami’s teachings and kigan with sincere kokoro, the human soul that lives a life that is one with Kami (Shinkon) will continue to live its Kokoro no Michi as its jittai is raised. A life that is one with Kami means to be enveloped by the power of Shinkon. The life will suppress the movement of kokoro that goes off the right path; the kokoro comes from personality traits. In addition, the life guides you to better movement of kokoro and raise the jittai. When the jittai that are passed from parents and ancestors change, the unmei given from kami will surface. Like this, if you live the way of life that brings out your strength, the soul will continue to live its Kokoro no Michi eternally.

The history of Shinji Kyōkai is all in the hands of Kami. In order to usher to the era of Shinkon, we went through the era of Daishin and the era of Chokushi that had looked at today. Be one with the environment of Shinji Kyōkai that Kami has established. That will allow you to fix the way of life, raise your jittai, and continue to live its Kokoro no Michi.

(*) Kibō no Michi ; A principle of salvation revealed by Ōyamanezunomikoto that enables us to correct our jittai (temperament, tendency) inherited from our parents and ancestors, to bring out our unmei which we were born with, and to lead the life without any regret.
